• 1 ½ cups jasmine or basmati rice
  • Smoked pork belly (approx. 3 cm wide)
  • 1-2 sausages (to taste)
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp white pepper
  • 5 sage leaves


  1. Put the rinsed rice, the whole piece of pork belly, sausages, sage, and water in the rice cooker pot.
  2. Close the lid, select the CLAYPOT RICE program and start it.
  3. When the rice is ready, (in about 30 minutes) take out the pork and sausages, and cut them into slices.
  4. Mix the soy sauce, fish sauce, and all other spices together. Add this to the pot along with the meat.
  5. Close the lid and let the program finish.

TIP: Serve in bowls drizzled with soy sauce and add freshly chopped corriander.
