Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups jasmine or basmati rice
- Smoked pork belly (approx. 3 cm wide)
- 1-2 sausages (to taste)
- 2 ½ cups water
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- ½ tsp sugar
- ½ tsp white pepper
- 5 sage leaves
Preparation
- Put the rinsed rice, the whole piece of pork belly, sausages, sage, and water in the rice cooker pot.
- Close the lid, select the CLAYPOT RICE program and start it.
- When the rice is ready, (in about 30 minutes) take out the pork and sausages, and cut them into slices.
- Mix the soy sauce, fish sauce, and all other spices together. Add this to the pot along with the meat.
- Close the lid and let the program finish.
TIP: Serve in bowls drizzled with soy sauce and add freshly chopped corriander.
